The Class of 2010 has been assembled in front of family and friends. Each has had their name called and moved forward to accept the paper that signifies that move from high school to the next big step.
The Class of 2011 has their ribbons of maroon and white pinned proudly to their chests - the transition of one class leaving and the other primed and poised to take their place. Yesterday they were bright eyed 7th graders – today our seniors, tomorrow graduates. And the process of growth and transition continues.
It is with great pride that we look on our assembled group, call the roll and wish them well. As we wave them off goodbye, we turn to see the next group come to fill their shoes, rallying and readying for that next great step.
This constant yet consistent change is the source of excitement that is experienced in the activity of education of CLHS. Each small change builds toward the ultimate goal of helping them grow, then, as a community, watching them go, and starting the process all over again next September.
